Jim Fanning is well known to all long time Montreal Expos fans. He was with the club in 1969 and his tenure touched four decades of the Expos history. He was general manager, field manager and at one time was responsible for their minor league system which produced hall of famers Gary Carter, Andre Dawson and likely future hall of famer and Larry Walker.
